Connecting Our Communities’ Journeys with the World.
Boozhoo is a dedicated initiative for remotely located First Nations to share their once untold experiences, stories and innovative collaborations. Making new connections and linking communities to the world via technology is giving a new voice to our communities. This venture provides a greeting space for First Nations to share their journeys of self-sovereignty and the power behind innovation. An invaluable resource for knowledge transfer of culture, language and teachings. A gathering place for social change, community growth and a venue for entrepreneurs, creatives and activists to network and truly change lives. It is a port that brings equality to First Nations’ concerns and opens possibilities to thrive, play, dream and grow.
Boozhoo is a dynamic platform for the unique voices and experiences of those living in Canada’s most remote regions and introduces them to the world. Crowd-sourced knowledge, creativity and idea exploration will be available in videos, podcasts, forums, blogs, live events and more. It’s content created by empowering our communities, for our communities.
Boozhoo means “Greetings” in Ojibwe!

INCREASING OPPORTUNITIES FOR SELF-SOVEREIGNTY & INDEPENDENCE
Boozhoo is a non-profit community driven initiative brought to you by FSET Information Technology, the first Starlink satellite installer in Canada. FSET is honoured to bring reliable, high-speed internet to remote First Nations, and to host the Boozhoo platform.

FSET is committed to sharing Indigenous ingenuity as First Nations gather here for unique content and collaboration.
DRIVE AND DETERMINATION IS CONNECTED TO ACCESS AND OPPORTUNITIES.
In this day and age, reliable internet is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. For far too long, remote First Nations communities have struggled to create opportunities for
their citizens, who are held back from their inherent journey to self-empowerment, due to a lack of access to the wider world.
Improved connections allow for social interaction, personal entertainment, professional online learning and life-saving social services. And those are just the
tangibles. The true power of connection is exploration, and the chance to grow and dream.
